Frequently asked questions

When are you opening?

We plan to open the brand new Lavender Fairy Trail from Easter Sunday 5th April 2026, weekends only until Saturday 16th May. We will then be open, 6 days a week until Sunday 9th August.

Tearoom Open 10am to 4pm daily, site closes at 5pm

We do hold proviate functions sop opening times may vary.

Do you have to pay to enter?

We do not charge an entry fee to the lavender fields or to the lavender fairy trail. Obviously, for any private events, there may well be a ticket required to attend.

Do you have to pay for parking?

We do have a small car park, so we encourtage visitors to car share, or arrive on foot or by bike. We have made the decision that one section of the 4 tier of car park will be reserved for those enjoying the Lavender Fairy trail.

PRE -BOOKING WILL BE ESSENTIAL to space out visitors, and there will be a nominal car parking charge of £2 per car per hour. This parking charge will need to be PRE BOOKED

Visitors to the Lavender Field will also need to pay a £2 car parking charge, and can be paid on arrival at the Reception Desk

Which dates are you closed?

CLOSED - 17th June - private function

We may close early if there is a private evening function such as the Summer Solstice Dinner (20 June) and Miracle Theatre (26 June)

Tickets are available via this link

Do you cater for dietary restrictions?

We do our level best to ensure that our menu offerings are as inclusive as possible.

So we cater our Lavender Cream Teas as having the option for GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE and VEGAN. We keep our menu small, and seasonal to avoid food waste, but there is always a Gluten free, or dairy free alternative or option.

Are you wheelchair friendly or accessible?

We have 3 car parking spaces reserved for those with limited mobility or blue badge holders (these are not ‘policed’ so we do rely on people’s goodwill to leave these for those who need them most).

We are a working farm, on a slope, so we have done our best to ensure that there is reserved seating at the bottom of the main lavender experience field for wheelchair users, or those with limited mobility. Please call in advance on 07425 448574 if you need one of these tables reserved for your visit.

Do I need to book?

There is no need to book the summer tearoom tables, unless you are a large group (8+) or if you have special dietary requirements or require our more easily accessible seating. If you particularly want to sit in one of the wooden seating pods, then we do recommend you call in advance and we can try and reserve one for you.
